Twitter Counter Plugin For WordPress
Do you have a Twitter Counter Plugin for WordPress? This is actually a pretty useful plugin. It displays the number of Twitter followers you have in a little icon that looks a lot like the Feedburner Counter icon. Each time you increase the number of followers you have your counter goes up in number and displays how many current Twitter followers you have. Of course, you have to be a Twitter user.

It’s not so much about ego, though for some people it probably is. It’s more about representing yourself as an authority. If you only have 5 Twitter followers then it’s not a good plugin for you. If your blog is only worth $5 or you’re not intending to sell your blog then why would you have a valuation icon on it? If you are selling your blog and your asking price of $10,000 can be justified, then an icon representing its value as $15,000 could be a smart move. If it’s just to show for vanity sake then, yeah, it’s pretty much just a waste. I try to recommend things that make sense from a business perspective.
