Blogging Humor Gets More Links

Go to any social bookmarking website and take a look for yourself. When posts are funny they are shared more often. Make people laugh and you get links. That’s the message I get from this.

For those of you who aren’t very funny. I’m sorry.

For those that can make their posts a little on the lighter side, I suggest you give it a try. Do an experiment. Write one post without any humor in it, (For some of you that’s easy), then one post where you add some laughs, then share both posts equally at social bookmarking sites.

See which one gets the most votes or links. Betcha the funny one does.
