The president’s economic stimulus package includes a provision for home owners to get a $15,000 tax break if they purchase a house this year:

(Source) The proposal would allow a tax credit of 10 percent of the value of new or existing residences, up to a $15,000 limit. Current law provides for a $7,500 tax break but only for first-time homebuyers.

If you are a real estate agent with a blog then you should keep your blog running. In fact, if you do business in the real estate sector at all, you should be blogging. Many people will take advantage of this tax credit. If they’ve been putting off purchasing a home until the economy recovers they are more likely to purchase that home now and take advantage of the tax credit.
