A few years ago most people had never heard of blogging. Now, everyone wants to be an expert blogger. It seems like you don’t have to go far to find the gurus harping up this and hyping up that. The truth is, I’d only consider a handful of people online to be expert enough at blogging to call them a guru, and I don’t think any of them would call themselves a guru.
But if you go to any of the popular social networks online you’ll meet some gurus that I’ve never heard of. Probably a few you’ve never heard of either. Some of them have taken to calling themselves social media gurus, which I’m sure is a category that doesn’t even exist.
